Jesse Williamson Biography :

Mr. Williamson has a varied background in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, financial advisory services, business and security valuations, as well as in operations management. From 2003 through 2007, Mr. Williamson was associated with FinanceNYC, LLC., a Wall Street merchant bank specializing in financing small- and middle-market high-growth companies while developing strategic partnerships, growth strategies and business models. He authored business plans and conducted extensive financial modeling for a broad variety of first- and second-stage developing companies with manufacturing, service, tech and biotech, entertainment and internet-based operations. As an operational and business process consultant to Met Life’s Tampa-based Remittance Service Center in the Spring of 2003, Mr. Williamson documented and analyzed the processes of Met’s supporting operations, and initiated sampling studies to identify payment errors from outside institutions, resulting in a 38% reduction of bank errors in financial instruments supplied to the firm and realization of a one year gain to Metropolitan life approximating $10m, along with an operational impact which continues through to present. Working for the UN as a financial and budgetary consultant in the Fall of 2003, Mr. Williamson designed a budgetary ‘template’ matrix for implementing future peacekeeping mission budgeting throughout the world, based on extensive research and analysis of historic and ongoing peacekeeping operations and work with all levels of UN staff within and without the FMSS (Financial Management Support Services) and DPKO (Department of Peacekeeping Operations) to facilitate and implement the matrix. While pursuing dual MBAs in Management Systems and Finance in the Fordham University Deming Scholars Honors Program from 2002-2005, Mr. Williamson held consulting positions at various companies, including Manhattan-based ITAC (Industrial and Technological Assistance Corporation), where he co-authored business plans and arranged financing for first and second-stage high-growth enterprises, as well as Met Life and the UN. Mr. Williamson was with the New York law firm Weitz & Luxenberg’s asbestos settlement unit from 2000-2002, engaged in negotiating large-scale settlement agreements and acting as a client liaison on these cases. From 1999-2000, he was associated with New Jersey-based American Express Business Finance, LLC in its early operating stage as it test-marketed small business financing programs. Highly successful deployments led to AMEX moving operations ‘in-house’ to their corporate campus in Phoenix. Mr. Williamson has also held contract positions with firms as diverse as Major League Baseball, Scripps Networks, Gibbs & Associates and MTV Networks. He has successfully managed and significantly improved both operations and bottom line results, as well as business process and execution, as consulting CFO/Project manager to Contracting, Real Estate Development and other similar firms, including D. American GC Corp of New York and Sierra Finishing Services, Inc., as well as additional small- and mid-size high growth ventures. Mr. Williamson received a B.A. in English, with honors, from Rutgers College (1999) with an accompanying degree in Psychology, and dual MBAs in Finance and Management Systems via Fordham’s Deming Scholar Honors Program (2005). Mr. Williamson has taught Negotiations, Accounting and Presentation Skills as well as Financial Modeling through ITAC’s fasTRAC program, a 12 week mini-MBA course designed for entrepreneurs and high-growth business leaders. He wrote and presented ‘Deming and the Venture Capitalist’ and the 11th Annual International Deming Research Seminar (2005). Mr. Williamson is a member of the Deming user group, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and is licensed in the state of New York for real estate sales.
