Mr. Masotti is a Vice President of Miller Global Properties and has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in leasing, property management and asset management. Mr. Masotti is responsible for the leasing, asset management and property management of Miller Global’s portfolio of office properties. Mr. Masotti is involved in all phases of marketing, leasing, budgeting, reporting, management, construction and capital improvement programs. He also assists in the underwriting and due diligence of office acquisitions and dispositions.Prior to joining Miller Global in 2006, Mr. Masotti served as Vice President of CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, a publicly traded real estate investment trust. In his thirteen years with CarrAmerica, he helped to extend the company from its base in Washington, DC to include a regional office in Denver, Colorado which opened in 1996. During that time, Mr. Masotti helped to establish CarrAmerica’s presence as a leading owner and developer of commercial office space. More specifically, he transitioned nearly 1,000,000 square feet of development properties to operating properties, negotiated nearly 1.5 million square feet of commercial office and retail leases, and procured and directed over 3,000,000 square feet of third party management contracts. When the Denver regional office was at its peak, he managed a staff of nearly sixty real estate professionals covering the Denver, Boulder, Phoenix, Tucson and Omaha markets. From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Masotti asset managed 1.5 million square feet of Washington, DC properties for CarrAmerica.Between 1986 and1993, Mr. Masotti worked for Equitec Properties in Hartford, Connecticut and for Farr Asset Management in Washington, DC. During this time, he leased and managed a number of commercial office properties throughout these metropolitan markets.Mr. Masotti has been actively involved in the Building Owners and Managers Association, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. Through these organizations, he has donated his time and participated in a number of community charity events.Mr. Masotti graduated in 1986 from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Economics. |
