As a principal with MacFarlane Partners, Jennifer Glover is responsible for directing and implementing the firm’s single-family residential investment programs, including portfolio management; client relations and reporting; strategic partnership formation and management; investment sourcing, underwriting and management; research; and risk management.Jennifer, who has 17 years of real estate experience, previously served as vice president, risk management in MacFarlane Partners’ urban real estate group, where she was responsible for managing the risk/return strategy of the firm’s urban portfolio, structuring investment terms, assessing and mitigating against long-term liabilities, overseeing corporate policies and procedures, and managing compliance administration and insurance programs.Prior to joining MacFarlane Partners, Jennifer was a senior portfolio manager for American Realty Advisors, a real estate investment management firm. There, she managed four real estate separate-account portfolios with an aggregate value of $600 million for government and Taft-Hartley pension plans. She was responsible for designing and implementing the investment strategies for her client portfolios which consisted of multifamily, retail, office and industrial properties in markets nationwide as well as for overseeing acquisitions, asset management, reporting, debt placement and dispositions on their behalf. She also served on the firm’s senior management team and investment committee.Previously, Jennifer served as a portfolio manager for Kar Fung Co., Ltd., where she was primarily responsible for the acquisition, entitlement, development and management of land and completed properties in the western United States. She began her career in property management with Avia Development Group and Paragon Group Property Services. Jennifer is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and serves on the board of directors for Rebuilding Together-San Francisco.
