Jennifer Black is currently the President of her own company, Jennifer Black & Associates, which she founded in September of 2003. Ms. Black held the position of President at Black & Company, Inc., a privately held regional brokerage firm from 1979 until 2000. In April of 2000 First Security Van Kaspar acquired the company. In June of 1999, Ms. Black was ranked #1 by the Wall Street Journal in the category of textiles and apparel as a Wall Street All Star Analyst. In 1997, Ms. Black was rated the number one analyst in the nation by the Reuters Large Company investment Research Survey. StarMine named Ms. Black a 5-Star Analyst with the most accurate earnings estimates in Specialty Retail as well as Textiles & Apparel & Luxury Goods in 2002. She also serves on the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors for the State of Oregon. Ms. Black was re-appointed to a second 3-year term on the Council. Ms. Black also sits on the Portland State University School of Business Administration Business Advisory Council. |
