Ambassador Bader is Senior Director of Stonebridge, advising clients on matters related to China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He has over 20 years of experience working on Asia-related matters for the U.S. Government. As Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for China, Ambassador Bader was instrumental in completing negotiations for China s accession to the WTO, and is well versed on a range of regulatory matters including financial services, intellectual property and trade disputes. He is currently a Senior Fellow and Director of the Brookings Institution s John L. Thornton China Center, and previously served at the U.S. State Department and the White House working on Asia policy matters. Ambassador Bader also served as U.S. Ambassador to Namibia
