As the client has expanded, he has helped it establish subsidiaries in Mexico and the U.S., and to restructure Canadian operations. In one acquisition, the due diligence work he performed resulted in a lower purchase price than the client otherwise would have paid.For the seller of a pump manufacturer, Jeff provided expert advice in a dispute over the purchase price adjustment based on net working capital that saved the client millions of dollars when the matter was settled in arbitration.With Jeff’s active support, the firm sponsors the German-American Business Circle to create an economic development infrastructure to attract and retain German companies in Pittsburgh. He and the firm also assist the region’s governmental officials in courting foreign-owned companies to Western Pennsylvania.Jeff is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
