Jeffrey R. Kotkin is vice president-Investor Relations for Northeast Utilities system (NU).He is responsible for overseeing NU’s relationship with institutional shareholders bondholders investment analysts and rating
agencies as well as guiding communications on financial issues with employees and media. Kotkin is a native of West Hartford Connecticut. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from Yale University in 1978.
Kotkin a former journalist joined the NU system in 1985 and soon became a senior corporate news representative. In 1993 he became manager of investor relations and later director of investor relations. He was promoted to his current position in June 2001. Kotkin is a director of the Wethersfield Little League vice chairman of Consumer Credit Counseling Service of New England and a member of the Wethersfield Democratic Town Committee. He lives in Wethersfield with his wife Ginger McCurdy and three children. |
