Obermayer joined BorgWarner Inc. in November 1982. Obermayer has been vice president and controller since January 2005. Obermayer's most recent prior position was as the Company's vice president and treasurer. He has held financial positions of increasing responsibility. These positions include controller of Morse TEC's operations in New Bedford, Massachusetts; controller of Transmission Systems' operations in Ketsch, Germany; director of financial planning and investments for BorgWarner Inc.; vice president and controller of Transmission Systems; and vice president finance and business development of Transmission Systems.
Obermayer received his bachelor's degree in business and master's degree in accounting from Illinois State University, and his masters in management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. |
