Jeffrey J. Tengel, executive vice president, leads Wholesale Banking activities in the national markets. His areas of responsibility include Capstone Realty Advisors, National Commercial Real Estate, Equity Sponsor Group, Financial Services Group, National City Equity Partners, National Retailers Group, Red Capital, Specialized Industries and Structured Finance.
Mr. Tengel joined National City in 1986 as a corporate management trainee. He progressed through the corporation, with assignments in corporate banking, mergers and acquisitions, credit, the structured finance division, the middle market corporate banking group in Indianapolis and Debt Capital Markets. Jeff also led the Best In Class initiative to "Reduce the Credit Burden". He served as chief credit officer for Wholesale Banking and, most recently, as chief credit officer for the corporation.
Mr. Tengel has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Marquette University and a master's degree in business administration from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. |
