As Executive Vice President for Duke Realty Corporation, Jeff has responsibility for the company’s Southern Region including overseeing all development, leasing, asset management and real estate operations. The Texas Region has an annual development volume of over $200 million, owns more than $500 million dollars of institutional grade industrial and office properties and 300 acres of undeveloped land. Jeff is also a member of the company’s Management and Investment Committees.
Previously, Jeff served as Senior Vice President of Duke’s Dallas Operations since 1998, where his team grew the Dallas portfolio from 1.3 million square feet to over 12 million square feet, primarily through speculative and build-to-suit development and a large joint venture with JP Morgan Investments. His group’s 1.1 million square foot transaction with The Container Store was named Best Headquarters Deal by the Dallas Business Journal in 2002, and recognized as the Largest Industrial Deal nationally by CoStar in that same year. In 2004, the Dallas Group was awarded DBJ’s Best Industrial Deal for its 687,000 square foot Del Monte project in Fort Worth, Texas. On the office front, Duke Dallas was awarded Best New Office Deal in 2005 for its 230,000 square foot transaction with T-Mobile in Frisco, Texas. The Dallas Group was named NAIOP’s Developer of the Year for two straight years in 2004 and 2005.
Prior to joining Duke in 1998, Jeff was Vice President for Paragon Group, where he was involved in industrial leasing and development for thirteen years and was a National Top Producer. To date, Jeff has been involved in the development of over 50 industrial and office buildings in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana where he played tennis and soccer. He is a long time member of North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and a present NAIOP Board Member. He and his wife Mary Jane have two daughters and have resided in Dallas since 1984. |
