Jeffrey C. Schwarz is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP. Based in the Firm's Chicago office, Jeff is the Firm's Information Technology Partner and also a member of the Health Department. His primary focus is managing the Firm's global IT Department. Working with all legal and administrative areas of the Firm, Jeff and his team develop and leverage technologies to enhance value and client service.
As a health lawyer, Jeff practices in areas including the acquisition and sale of health care entities, development of integrated delivery systems, acquisition and sale of information systems, formation and development of joint ventures and managed care entities, managed care contracting, and general representation of hospitals and physician practices.
Prior to joining McDermott, Jeffrey practiced in the health department of a law firm in Cleveland, where his practice focused on the formation of integrated delivery systems, the sale and acquisition of physician practices and the general representation of hospitals and physicians.
He is admitted to the Ohio and Illinois bars.
