Jeff Martin was named President of Automated Trading Desk Financial Services, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ATD in October 2002. He is responsible for the trading of external broker-dealer flow at ATD. His responsibilities include oversight of the trading desk, service desk and working extensively with the technology side of the firm to direct improvements to the automated trading system. An ATD employee since August 1996, Jeff has performed a variety of roles. He served as the Controller from 1998 thru 2001. He was a proprietary trader from 1997 thru 2001. In 2001, he became the owner's representative on the construction of the ATD Technology Campus. After completing that project, he became the President of AUTO, and was responsible for the design and implementation of a completely automated market making trading system. He has been actively involved in both the trading and marketing of AUTO since it's inception. Jeff previously was employed by the State of West Virginia, where he was the Chief Financial Officer for the WV State Board of Investments. In that role he led the implementation of a statewide accounting system and a conversion to GAAP accounting. Prior to the State of WV, he was employed by Deloitte and Touche, in Pittsburgh, PA as an auditor. He holds a bachelor's of science degree from West Virginia University, is a CPA, and holds Series 7, 63, 55, 24 and 27 licenses from the NASD. |
