As President and Chief Operating Officer, Jeff leads the Cullinan organization on a day-to-day basis with specific responsibility for implementation of new developments, leasing, marketing and administration. Jeff serves as the primary interface with municipalities during the pre-development phase, including the negotiation of development agreements. Mr. Giebelhausen has personally been involved in numerous TIF, Special Service District, Special Assessment, Sales Tax Rebate and related development techniques. He has worked with State and Federal officials on a wide spectrum of issues, including targeted legislation.
Jeff joined Cullinan Properties in 1996 and has successfully directed the completion of corporate projects, including Grand Prairie Developments (The Shoppes at Grand Prairie) a 1 million square foot regional shopping center anchored by a 500,000 square foot lifestyle center; The Shoppes at College Hills a complete small shop demolition and re-construction of a former enclosed mall; East Court Village a partial demolition and inside turning out renovation of a former enclosed mall; and EastPort Marina/HarborPointe Residences.
Mr. Giebelhausen is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois and has previously served as a licensed real estate appraiser for regional and state lending institutions.
Mr. Giebelhausen served as Mayor of East Peoria, Illinois from 1991 to 1999 and on the City Council from 1987 to 1991. He is a past Vice President of the Illinois Municipal League and past Chairman of the Tri-County Mayor’s Association. Jeff has served as a Chairman, Officer or Board Member in organizations including the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, Heartland Community Health Clinic, Counseling and Family Services, Economic Development Council for the Peoria Area, Helping Hands Foundation, Eastlight Theatre, Junior Achievement of Central Illinois and many others.
Jeff received his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University with a concentration in Urban Management and Finance and his Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University with a Political Science concentration.
Jeff will be involved in all aspects of the development working with the construction, leasing and marketing teams to ensure a successful development for the community, tenants/land users and company. |
