Jeff Brown is a senior managing director in FTI Healthcare and is based in Atlanta, GA. For the past 15 years, Mr. Brown has provided financial, operational and strategic consulting services to healthcare providers and payers. Mr. Brown has extensive experience in margin improvement for hospitals and has spent much of his career in implementing solutions in the revenue cycle, supply chain, clinical documentation, and productivity areas. Specifically, he has very broad and deep experience in all components of the revenue cycle including patient access and registration, patient financial services, health information management, clinical documentation, denials management, and case management.
Mr. Brown has led numerous revenue cycle improvement initiatives, ranging from extensive turnaround projects to focused redesign efforts for large health systems, stand alone community hospitals and/or payers. In addition, he has managed numerous projects in the areas of broad operations / performance improvement, strategic planning, financial modeling, and labor productivity for hospitals, long-term care providers, home care providers and payers.
Mr. Brown has over thirteen years of consulting experience, consisting of four years as a Managing Director in Navigant Consulting’s Healthcare Provider practice, where he was market leader for the East Region, one year as a founding Partner in Subsidium Health Advisors, a strategic advisory firm, and over eight years in Arthur Andersen’s healthcare consulting division as an Industry Director in the Performance Improvement and Revenue Cycle practices. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Brown had over two years of operations experience working for a community hospital in Atlanta, GA and a large integrated health system in Jacksonville, Florida. |
