Jay Bourland vice president and general manager Customer Data Quality and Data Integration is responsible for the product development product management marketing and strategic direction of the company’s customer data quality and data integration solutions. Prior to this from 2002 to 2007 Bourland was in charge of technology for Group 1 Software's Business Geographics Division where he worked to improve the product line and shape its future.
Before joining Group 1 Software Bourland spent four years with Sagent Technology where he gained a deep understanding of how customers use and interact with enterprise software as both a senior product manager and senior professional services engineer. His work included projects to open software products for use by developers and adding web services capabilities. Bourland also spent two years as a professional services engineer with qualitative marketing software.
A 20-year computer and technology industry veteran Bourland holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Southern Methodist University. His past experience includes several years in academia at the University of Washington Stanford University and Colorado State University and he has published 12 academic papers in the area of nonlinear oscillations and waves. |
