Jason W. Adkins has more than 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the telecommunications services industry primarily with major fiber optics based transport carriers including Cinergy Communications, Level 3, TelCove and KMC Telecom. Mr. Adkins most recent position was Vice President of Sales Large Enterprises, for Cinergy Communications, a privately owned fiber carrier that provides services in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. Mr. Adkins responsibilities included managing Cinergy’s direct and indirect sales groups in the company’s E-rate and large enterprise markets.Prior to joining Cinergy, Mr. Adkins was a General Manager for Western Virginia and Northeast Tennessee at Level 3/TelCove where he had sales and operations responsibilities for a region containing fiber assets of more than $400 million.At KMC Telecom (which was acquired by TelCove) he was promoted from Senior Account Executive, to City Director, to Regional City Director for the Mid-Atlantic U.S., a role in which he had sales and operations responsibility for a region with fiber assets of more than $300 million. Prior to his involvement in the fiber industry, Mr. Adkins spent a year as a regional sales representative with a wireless cable TV operator in rural Virginia. Mr. Adkins received his MBA from Radford University after receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration undergraduate degree from James Madison University, where his major was Marketing with a minor in Economics. |
