Jarred Kirsch Biography :

Jarred Kirsch is the vice president of business development for Guidester, Inc. In this role he helps support Guidester's growing retail partner and advertiser networks and assesses new business development initiatives and partnerships.

Before coming on board Guidester, Kirsch was vice president of marketing and business development at Metroline Entertainment, the company known for launching the highly-publicized Taxi TV Pilot Program in New York City. While at Metroline, Kirsch negotiated and secured the company's strategic and technology partnerships with multiple hardware, service and content vendors, and, coordinated joint sales and co-marketing programs. He also researched, developed, tested and implemented The Taxi Channel's hardware, software and wireless technology platform, which was widely recognized as the most sophisticated product offering on the market.

In advance of Metroline, Kirsch served as a strategic business consultant to several small businesses in association with the Wharton Small Business Development Center. He provided strategic analysis, financial planning, business development and marketing support services to a wide array of companies.

From 2000-2002, Kirsch worked as an associate in the Financial Services Group of Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB). In this role he marketed CSFB's full array of products and services to a select group of small businesses and high net worth individuals. In addition to his marketing responsibilities, he designed and activated a proprietary process for evaluating derivative hedging strategies for clients with concentrated stock positions.

Prior to his work at CSFB, Kirsch was vice president of sales and marketing at Connoisseur Concepts Incorporated, a manufacturer and distributor of high-end consumer accessory products. While at Connoisseur, Kirsch generated a 20% increase in existing account income, increased overall U.S. distribution by 125% and maintained 100% account retention.

Kirsch began his career as the assistant vice president of marketing and new business development at Avenue Management Group, a full-service artist management firm that represents writers and musicians.

Kirsch earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. He completed his undergraduate work at The University of Colorado at Boulder where he received his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in American History and Marketing.
