James Yu is responsible for NeoScale's global marketing, product management, worldwide business development and strategic alliances. He brings over 20 years of industry experience, most recently as VP of Business Development at intelligent storage networking vendor, MaXXan Systems, where he is credited with guiding geographic expansion and forging critical strategic partnerships. Prior to MaXXan, James worked at Hewlett Packard in various roles of increasing responsibility, serving most recently as Director of Strategic Investments where he directed HP's investments and M&A activities. Also at HP, James led the high-end product line in the company's enterprise storage business to profitability and 1 billion in revenue, directed European storage marketing, and managed VAR and OEM channels for HP's Unix server business. James holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from San Jose State University.
