James Newman, MD, FACS is director of the Premier Plastic Surgery center in Palo Alto and San Mateo, California. He is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is an innovator in the field of minimally invasive surgery as well as in the use of emerging technologies in the filed of aesthetic plastic surgery. In addition to serving on the clinical faculty at Stanford University, he participates in the Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship Training Program. He has published over 30 peer reviewed papers and book chapters in the field of surgery and lasers. He has been an invited guest lecturer on four continents around the world and has performed live procedures as part of teaching and innovation. Dr. Newman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and has held leadership roles within the California Society of Facial Plastic Surgery. Since 1996, he has served as a consultant and advisor to entrepreneurs involved in surgical and minimally invasive devices. In addition to serving on several Scientific Advisory Boards of leading edge medical device companies, he is also engaged as a primary investigator in clinical research. His honors and memberships include Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Omega Alpha, American College of Surgeons and America’s Best Physicians List. |
