James founded Praedea and conceived and developed the initial framework around, and the specifications for, Praedea’s solutions. Originally driving the product development process, he now focuses his primary efforts on corporate and business development, sales and marketing and funding activities. James has over 15 years of industry experience, including a long career in investment banking where he worked in a variety of disciplines including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, high yield and institutional debt and private equity. His experience spans transaction execution, business development/client management and administration in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Singapore. Prior to founding Praedea, James was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch (Corporate Finance), a Managing Director at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, a Vice President at Smith Barney, and an Associate and Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where he began his career in New York. James has a B.A. (Honors) in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago |
