James DuCharme

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
James DuCharme joined in March 2005 as senior vice president, finance, and chief financial officer (CFO). DuCharme brings 20 years of health care financial management experience to his new post. He will be responsible for overseeing the Plan’s financial reporting, accounting, investments, product pricing, and strategic financial direction, as well as overseeing APA Partners, CDPHP’s third party administrator.
Most recently, DuCharme served 16 years as CFO at Vermont Blue Cross/Blue Shield leading a number of important directives contributing to the Plan’s continued growth and success. Prior to that, he served as director of budgets and accounting for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
The Pennsylvania native holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pa. He is a certified management accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). |
