Mr. Martin, a Martindale-Hubble AV rated attorney, represents a wide variety of clients in both state and federal court in the areas of commercial law, employment law, environmental law, and insurance defense and coverage litigation, including bad faith actions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Martin served a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Harold R. Ryan, United States District Court, District of Idaho. Mr. Martin was honored by Chambers & Partners for his knowledge and experience in the area of Commercial Litigation, and in 2007 was listed in The Best Lawyers in America for his work in Insurance Law. Mr. Martin was also honored as the "2007 Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteer Attorney of the Year" for the Family Advocate Program." Mr. Martin's recent experience includes: General Business/Commercial Litigation Businesses including a major computer manufacturer in various litigated matters involving patent infringement, patent validity, and patent licensing.National investment manager and lenders regarding claims of lender liability, alleged breach of loan commitments and promises to lend money.National bank and its insurance company subsidiary regarding claims arising out of purchase and sale of insurance agency. He is an officer of the Fourth District Bar Association, a member of the American Inns of Court, and also is a past Idaho State Representative for the Defense Research Institute.Mr. Martin received his undergraduate degree from Boise State University and his law degree from the University of Idaho in 1990 where he was editor-in chief of the Idaho Law Review.
