Jim is a member of the firm's Antitrust & Complex Litigation Practice Team. In 35 years of practice, he has tried civil and criminal cases in virtually every area of the law, including antitrust, securities, intellectual property, technology, environmental, construction, and malpractice. He is the author of "Expediting Pretrials and Trials of Antitrust Cases," and has tried numerous complex antitrust cases, including: Successfully defended a $1.5 billion dollar antitrust case involving the salmon industry Civil RICO and fraud case for Minebea, an international manufacturer Shrimp Peelers patent-antitrust cases for Laitram, Inc. and other defendants Sherman and Clayton Act cases in the dairy and poultry industries for Darigold, Inc. and Western Farmers Association Patent-antitrust case for Litton Business Systems, Inc. Trade secret-antitrust case for Libbey-Owens-Ford, Inc. in the commercial aircraft industry International antitrust case for Makita, USA in the tool industry International Law.
