Mr. House, 46, was appointed Regional Vice President and Managing Director of Apache North Sea Ltd. in June 2006. Mr. House joined Apache in 1991 as a staff petroleum engineer responsible for assets located in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico. He moved to Cairo during 1996 when Apache established operations in Egypt and served as Managing Director of the joint venture Qarun Petroleum Company following other business development and engineering responsibilities. He moved to Warsaw, Poland in 1999 as Managing Director of Apache Poland. Mr. House returned to Egypt in 2001 to assume the position of Managing Director of the joint venture Khalda Petroleum Company following Apache’s acquisition of Repsol’s interest in various western desert concessions. During late 2005, he moved to Aberdeen to become the director of operations of Apache North Sea Ltd.
Prior to joining Apache, Mr. House worked for Amoco Production Company as a petroleum engineer in West Texas, Houston and New Orleans, La.
Mr. House holds bachelor degrees in petroleum engineering and mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. |
