Jim Duffy is Executive Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources for CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT), a leading global commercial and consumer finance company.
He is responsible for the development and delivery of employee programs, policies and benefits, as well as the structuring of human resource plans to support CIT’s business growth. Duffy has developed people strategies under the leadership of John Reed, Larry Bossidy, Sandy Weill and Chuck Prince.
Prior to CIT, Duffy was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Citigroup’s Global Consumer Group. Before Citigroup, he held senior human resources positions at other major banking and manufacturing companies including such as AlliedSignal, Ingersoll-Rand, Banker’s Trust and GE.
Duffy serves on the Board of Jobs for America’s Graduates and is a longtime supporter and sponsor of the Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies at Cornell University.
He received a BS from Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. |
