Prior to joining Government Properties Trust, Inc., Mr. Okell was engaged in a private advisory business offering a broad range of consulting and financial services to private companies. Before this, he served as the Director of Financial Services for Peter Kiewit Sons’ Inc. where he was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures, credit and investment analysis, real estate and the development and validation of comprehensive business plans, including subsidiary plans to access public or private capital markets, negotiating and closing subsidiary loan transactions, and arranging financing. Jim has significant experience in acquiring, developing and managing various types of real estate including office and mixed use properties, residential subdivisions, and timberland and mineral properties. |
