James A. Forese is a Managing Director and Head of Global Equities for Citi based in New York. Mr. Forese is a member of the Citi Operating and Management Committees, as well as the Planning Group of Citi Markets & Banking (CMB).
Mr. Forese assumed his current role in May, 2003. Prior to that, Mr. Forese was a Managing Director in the Fixed Income Division of Salomon Smith Barney. Most recently, he was the Global Head of Interest Rate and Derivative Products. From 1995 to 2000, he was head of European Fixed Income and International Capital Markets based in London.
He first joined Salomon Brothers in 1985 and was named a Managing Director in 1993.
Mr. Forese graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
