Jim Ajello is senior vice president of business development at Reliant Energy Inc. He is charged with growing Reliant’s retail energy business into new markets.
Ajello joined Reliant in 2000 and initiated and managed Reliant’s commercial, industrial, and institutional retail energy business in the Texas and PJM markets. Before joining Reliant Energy, Ajello was vice president of Enron North America, where he was responsible for a team originating business with large industrial clients. Previously, he was based in New York as managing director of the energy and natural resources group of UBS Warburg. Prior to this assignment, Ajello was at UBS Chicago where he first served as head of the UBS North American project finance team, then as managing director and manager for four years.
Ajello is chairman of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Environmental Management Advisory Board. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement (Southeast Texas). |
