Jacques V. Galante is a Principal focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the telecommunications and media sectors with a special focus on the wireline services, Internet infrastructure and yellow pages publishing industries. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Galante was a Financial Analyst in Salomon Smith Barney’s Merger and Acquisition Group. While at Salomon Smith Barney, Mr. Galante provided strategic and financial advisory services to clients across a broad range of industries including technology, media, telecommunications, energy, and industrial products.
