Jacob Hornberger is our General Manager of Technical Services. Mr. Hornberger joined the BCI team in June 2005 as Manager of Technical Services. In this role, Mr. Hornberger was responsible for expanding the installation and modification services BCI provides. In September 2005, he was promoted to Director of Technical services and given the responsibility of unifying and centralizing the operational control of the Network Services Department. In January, 2007, Mr. Hornberger was promoted to General Manager of Technical Services. In this new role, Mr. Hornberger will continue to expand the services provided as well as incorporate the RF and Drive Testing services into his department. Prior to his employment with BCI Communications, Mr. Hornberger was employed by Sprint as a project manager for both Site Development and Special Projects. These duties were performed from 2001 to 2005 and responsibilities included the upgrade/modification of cell sites as well as the completion of new build sites in the New Jersey, Philadelphia and Baltimore/Washington DC markets. Prior to entering the telecommunications industry in 2001, Mr. Hornberger successfully completed a twelve year career in the United States Navy. While serving in the US Navy, he completed the Naval Nuclear Power training program, qualified Engineering Watch Supervisor and Engineering Duty Petty Officer (senior enlisted watch qualifications for both operational and shutdown conditions), and Quality Assurance Inspector. During this time, Mr. Hornberger also received his BS from NY Regents and MSIS from Hawaii Pacific University. |
