Jack R. Lazar has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September 2003 and as our Secretary since November 2003. Prior to joining Atheros Mr. Lazar was the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of NetRatings Inc. a publicly traded Internet audience measurement and analysis company. Prior to joining NetRatings from January 1996 to August 1999 Mr. Lazar was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Apptitude Inc. (formerly Technically Elite Inc. and acquired by hi/fn inc. 2000) a developer and manufacturer of network management solutions. From 1992 to 1995 Mr. Lazar served in various executive positions at Electronics for Imaging and prior to this he was employed by Price Waterhouse in San Jose CA. Mr. Lazar is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce with an emphasis in accounting from Santa Clara University.
