Jack Brown serves as the Vice President of Information Services at Graphic Printing Services, Inc. His primary responsibility is to create a technological environment in which employees and customers can work together to achieve their established goals in the most effective manner possible. This responsibility requires the management of computers, servers, databases, applications and networking in multiple operating systems.Jack’s background includes management positions in Prepress Production and Marketing. In his 10 years with the company, Jack has had hands-on involvement with thousands of customer files and has developed solutions that saved the customer time and money. He is also familiar with customer needs, having visited customer locations on numerous occasions to analyze needs and develop production strategies. With such broad-based experience, Jack can provide numerous perspectives to a project and create results that are mutually beneficial. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Jack holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Education. He has also attended numerous post-graduate Management and Marketing classes at UNCG. His technical skills include proficiencies in all desktop publishing applications, Macintosh OS, Windows OS, networking and numerous database tools. Most importantly, Jack enjoys what he does and takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge with others. |
