Isaac Kier has been a member of our Board of Directors since our inception. Since February 2006 Mr. Kier has been the principal at Kier Global LLC, a private equity and real estate investment firm. From 2000 to 2006, Mr.
Kier served as a partner of the general partner of Coqui Capital Partners L.P., a venture capital firm. From February 2004 until May 2006, he was the secretary and treasurer and a member of the board of directors of Tremisis Energy Acquisition Corporation, an OTC Bulletin Board-listed company. Since June 2005,
Mr. Kier has also been a director of Paramount Acquisition Corporation, a company formed for the purpose of acquiring an operating business in either the biotechnology or specialty pharmaceuticals industry. Since October 2004, Mr. Kier has served as a member of the board of directors of Hana Biosciences Inc.,
(NASDAQ:HNAB), a biopharmaceutical company. From 1987 to 1997, he served as the managing partner of the Alabama 8 market, a non-wireline cellular licensee. From 1982 until its sale in 1995, Mr. Kier served as Chairman and CEO of Lida, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company engaged in textile production and printing. Mr. Kier received a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and a J.D. from George Washington University Law School. |
