Iris practices in the area of taxation with emphasis on payroll and sales tax issues, as well as individual and corporate taxation. She is licensed to practice in Tennessee and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. She has been with the firm for over twenty-three years.
Ms. Abelson is a graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with a degree in Liberal Arts. After starting her family, she attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and became certified in 1985.
Ms. Abelson is also active in the community. She is currently a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the Hamilton County Juvenile Court and serves on the Hamilton County Foster Care Review Board. She is very active in her synagogue, currently serving as a trustee and the chair of numerous committees. |
