Hugh Miller is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Delta Financial Corp. Mr. Miller served as Executive Vice President in charge of Operations from 1985 to 1991, overseeing day to day operations of the firm. He became President and Chief Executive Officer in 1991.
As president and CEO, Mr. Miller has steered Delta through tough economic cycles including fluctuations in interest rates, recession and other business environments.
Today, the Company stands as a model for others in its sector. Delta, in 1991, was an industry pioneer when it securitized its loans and was one of the first to utilize innovative financing and securitization structures to navigate through tough economic times -- times that saw a majority of the companies in Delta’s sector collapse. Since 1991, Delta has completed 46 asset-backed securitizations, collateralized by approximately $14.8 billion in mortgage loans.
Mr. Miller has served on many industry and charitable boards and committees including as a board member of the National Home Equity Mortgage Association (NHEMA), and has been honored for his work with a humanitarian award by the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. |
