Hobart A. Smith, age 70, has served as a Director on our Board since December 2002. Mr. Smith has been associated with Smith International, Inc. and its affiliates and predecessors, a products and services supplier to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, in various capacities since 1965. These roles included Vice President of Customer Relations, Assistant to the President and Vice President of Marketing. Since 1992, Mr. Smith has served as a consultant to Smith International, primarily in Customer Relations and Industry Affairs. Mr Smith is also a director of Harken Energy Corp., a publicly traded oil and gas company. Mr. Smith has a degree in Business Administration from Claremont-McKenna College and a Marketing degree from The University of Southern California. |
