The front-end face of our new Sanction Solutions operation is Ho Nguyen, Chief Solutions Architect. That title may sound unusual, and so is the palette of services that Ho performs. If you come to us with a data problem, Ho will find the solution for you, and implement it - simply and transparently. Ho has served Verdict Systems clients for more than three years, including handling large-scale data extraction on the complex Enron Broadband case. Ho's extensive background in server and database technologies in Windows and Unix environments, as well as network infrastructure and security make him the ideal contact to head this client services division of our business. Before taking on this new role at Verdict Systems, Ho was a Technology Consultant Specialist for Kaiser Permanente, where he defined and created Kaiser's standardized Linux environment for an enterprise with more than 3,000 Unix servers and 7,500 Windows servers. He was also Director of Network Engineering at Cayenta, and later Information Technology Director at Enviance, designing, implementing and managing a hosted ASP environment for a proprietary application in the energy industry. His first experience with the unique data and technology needs of law firms came in 1996 as Senior Network Engineer at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he helped design and implement the network and messaging infrastructure of this AMLAW 100 firm, and was responsible for maintaining it. As steeped in technology as he is, it was inevitable that Ho would come to be known as the company nerd. While he admits to some geekiness, Ho also amuses himself over the many monikers his name has spawned: such as Heave-Ho, Ho-Bags, Ho-Daddy, Ho-ser, Ho-meister, and Ho-Da. He does look very wise when contemplating solutions to complex client dilemmas, however - so some of those nicknames are well-earned. Ho also works exceptionally hard for his clients, as evidenced by many glowing testimonials from Verdict Systems' customers. He is a stickler for quality, and while he likes to keep 36-hour days to a minimum, he has shown repeatedly that he will do what it takes to ensure client work is completed to those elevated standards.Ho Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Arizona State University. |
