She served as executive vice president and a member of the corporate executive committee in Hydro, where she headed the Leadership & Culture business area, comprising the human resources, HSE, ethics and social responsibility corporate staffs
Ms Aasheim joined Hydro in October 2005.
From 1986-2005 she was employed in Elkem ASA. During this period she held management positions in the company, both at staff and line level. She was a member of Elkem’s corporate executive committee for many years.
From 1982-86 she was employed in the auditing company Arthur Andersen.
Ms Aasheim holds a degree in business economics and a state-authorised public accountancy qualification from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen. |
