Hideaki Morita joined ORIX in August 1976 after working for Chori Co. Ltd. for just over one year. After a number of positions in ORIX he was appointed General Manager of Sales Department I in February 1998 and then the General Manager of the Business Planning & Development Department and Sales Promotion Department in March 1999. He became the General Manager of Osaka Sales Department V in April 2000 and was promoted to the position of Deputy Head of the Kinki (Osaka) Sales Headquarters in January 2002. In January 2003 Morita was appointed as a Corporate Executive Officer and promoted to the position of Head of the Kinki (Osaka) Sales Headquarters in April 2003. Morita became an Executive Officer under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. In January 2006 Morita was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President and became the executive officer responsible for the Administration Center.
Morita was born in 1950 and graduated from Osaka City University's Faculty of Literature in 1974. |
