Heinz Kohler, a Swiss national from Berne, apprenticed as baker/confectionary and chef with certification. Heinz completed his Master Diploma of Chef de Cuisine in Switzerland. His education path has taken him through courses in the Hotel & Restaurant School in Chur / Switzerland, the Wine and Spirit School in Waedenswil Zurich, Switzerland and courses at the Cornell University-Ithaca. In addition, courses on leadership, training, communication and people management skills during twelve years tenure with Hyatt International Hotels.
Heinz is a well know International Food Salon Culinary Judge and has won many prestigious awards himself. He is active in promoting the culinary trade and is a member of the Swiss Chefs Association, Chaine des Rotisseur, WACS, Emirates Culinary Guild, Cordon Noir and Chefs on Tour Club.
His career has taken him from Switzerland to Norway, Tunisia, England, Middle East, Africa and Russia, working with prestigious international hotel chains and restaurant operations. He is fluent in German, French and English.
