Professional Experience -
Heather has been in public accounting for over 11 years, advancing to manager levels in both the tax and audit functions within multiple Tampa Bay firms. She began her career building extensive experience in the audit of governmental & not-for-profit entities and the performance of compliance services for the Florida Department of Revenue. From there, she expanded into the provision of audit, attestation & tax services for closely-held businesses & their shareholders with a firm in South Tampa, where she advanced to the level of partner. She most recently served as a Tax Manager in another Tampa firm, where she further expanded her abilities in the federal & state tax preparation & consulting areas.
Heather is a seasoned auditor, having performed audits & attestation services within the governmental, not-for-profit, professional services, real estate development, construction, agricultural & manufacturing industries. She is also a skilled small business accounting & tax consultant, with special interests in the fraud & financial planning areas of the profession. She enjoys helping clients meet both their short & long-term accounting & financial planning needs.
