Heather Bresch has more than 16 years of experience in the generic pharmaceutical industry. She has held multiple senior executive positions with Mylan including those within government relations public relations and industry relations. Before becoming the Head of North American Operations Ms. Bresch served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Corporate Development in the Office of the CEO. In addition to her responsibilities as Head of North American Operations she is serving as Chief Integration Officer for the Mylan-Merck integration.
Ms. Bresch served two consecutive terms as Chairman of the Generic Pharmaceutical Association (GPhA) and held the position of GPhA’s Vice Chairman. She has been active on critical industry issues and played a pivotal role on the successful passage of the 2003 Medicare Modernization Act a Congressional revision to the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984 that focused on ensuring consumers access to affordable pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Bresch earned an MBA and an undergraduate degree in international studies and political science from West Virginia University. |
