Dr. Ferit Boysan has been the Company's Vice President and General Manager, Fluids Business Unit since May 2006 with the consummation of the acquisition of Fluent Inc. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Boysan was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Fluent. He became Fluent’s COO in 1997 and its President in 1999, after having been Managing Director of Fluent’s European Operations since 1991. From 1986 to 1991, Dr. Boysan was the Managing Director of Flow Simulation, Ltd., the European distributor of Fluent’s products. Dr. Boysan was one of the original developers of Fluent's CFD software at Sheffield University in the UK in the early 1980s when he was a postdoctoral research fellow. Prior to his time in Sheffield, Dr. Boysan had studied at Istanbul University in Turkey. |
