Harvey J. Nathan is the Vice President of Contracts for EADS North America, bringing over 30 years of experience working with the Department of Defense.
His experience includes serving as the Deputy General Counsel (Acquisition and Logistics), where he stood as the Department of Defense’s highest-ranking acquisition lawyer. In the position, he oversaw major defense programs, the formulation of acquisition programs, acquisition reform, outsourcing and privatization, foreign ownership, control and influence of U.S. companies and international cooperative agreements.
Nathan also served as Special Assistant to the General Counsel of the Department of Defense for Globalization and International Industrial Matters, where he helped formulate policy involving transnational mergers and acquisitions in the defense industry. Nathan also worked as Of Counsel in the Government Contracts Counseling and Litigation Practice of Sidley Austin LLP an international law firm based in Washington, D.C. |
