Harry Davoody joined American Capital in April 2007 as a Principal on the Operations Team. Harry is responsible for providing operational support to companies within our technology portfolio. Prior to joining American Capital, Harry was the Founding CEO of the high-tech start-up LedEngin, Inc. He built the organization, launched, and managed all team activities including business & product strategy to attack the emerging global market for Solid-State Lighting, product development, IP creation & filing WW patents, marketing, operations processes, and third-party manufacturing partnership in Asia. Prior to LedEngin, Harry served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Multi Service Access Division of Mindspeed Technologies. His division developed semiconductor products with embedded software for telecom infrastructure applications. Prior to Mindspeed, Harry served as President & CEO of ST Assembly Test Services in Singapore where he was responsible for leading state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing plants in Singapore and China. Prior to ST, Harry had worked for two decades at Texas Instruments. He joined Texas Instruments Semiconductor Group after college and contributed in a variety of roles with increasing levels of responsibility in engineering, marketing, operations, management, and as senior executive. Harry was Vice President and General Manager for various TI divisions and managed a full financial P/L of $1B annual for the company. |
