Mr. Leonard provides accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services to the financial services industry. He co-chairs Stegman's Financial Services Specialized Industry Group and is a member of the firm's Professional Organizations Group. Mr. Leonard has more than thirty years of experience with the financial services industry including involvement in the supervision of audit engagements for banks and bank holding companies ranging in size from $40 million to $1 billion. He is responsible for tax compliance with both federal and state tax authorities-including consolidated tax issues and tax planning-as well as valuations and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Leonard provides consultations in SEC reporting matters, assists in valuation of deposit premiums, and participates in IRS negotiation of settlements and resolution of disputes.
