Hans-Ueli Rihs was born in Zurich/Switzerland on Jan. 3, 1944. After finishing commercial high school in Zurich, he started his practical career at a specialized orthopedic company in Stuttgart/Germany in 1963. After twelve years, he moved back to Switzerland in order to join Phonak Ltd. as Director of Marketing and Sales. Together with his partners, he developed this young, dynamic company to become a worldwide market-leader in the hearing systems industry (for the hard of hearing). After almost twenty-five years, he's moved out of the daily operations, but, as a major shareholder, is still closely associated with Phonak Ltd.
Thanks to his international marketing experience in medtech, he joined 4-D Neuroimaging as a Board member in 2000. |
