Gwen Miller serves as executive vice president and manager of City National Private Banking in West Los Angeles and is a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Since 2005 Ms. Miller has led a team of wealth management banking and credit professionals in the coordinated delivery of the bank’s broad array of financial products and services to high-net-worth individuals and families professional firms and nonprofit organizations. She is based at City National’s corporate headquarters in Beverly Hills Calif. and reports to Dallas Haun executive vice president for California Commercial and Private Banking Services.
Ms. Miller who has worked in the banking industry for 26 years previously was one of three team leaders in City National’s Beverly Hills-based Entertainment Division.
Before joining City National in 1999 Ms. Miller was a senior vice president and led the Private Banking and Entertainment units for California United Bank. She also worked for five years as a vice president and commercial and private banking relationship manager in the entertainment division at Bank of California. She began her career as a management trainee and commercial lender with First Interstate Bank and later as a commercial lender for Union Bank.
Miller earned a bachelor’s degree from Scripps College and is a board member with the Silverlake Children’s Theatre Group. She lives in the Mt. Washington section of Los Angeles with her husband and two daughters.
