Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron Gretchen worked for Callaway Partners as a senior director responsible for national business development within the Southeast region.
Before joining Callaway Gretchen worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she was a Director for their State and Local Tax practice for the Southeast specializing in employment taxes. In that role Gretchen assisted clients with federal state and local tax issues. Projects under her supervision encompassed controversies resolution refund claims merger and acquisition assistance restructuring guidance and strategic planning. Based on the nature of her focus on employment taxes Gretchen's client base was comprised primarily of Fortune 1000 companies.
Prior to working for PricewaterhouseCoopers Gretchen was hired by Deloitte & Touche to lead their Southeast Employment Tax Practice. She came to Deloitte & Touche from Arthur Andersen where she began her career in public accounting. At Andersen Gretchen spent the majority of her time working on cross-functional teams within the State and Local Tax Practice in the Southeast. She was also responsible for leading employment tax consulting services in the Philadelphia market.
