Greg O’Briant is a principal at Bridge Associates LLC, joining the firm in 2006. Mr. O'Briant has over ten years of professional experience with transportation and distribution networks.
Representative Matters
Member of the Bridge team serving as restructuring advisor to Senior Management Services of America, a $25 million long-term healthcare company headquartered in Arlington, Texas and operating 16 nursing homes in Texas and Louisiana. The Company filed for chapter 11 protection in Dallas, TX and recently and confirmed a plan of reorganization involving the sale of substantially all of the Company’s assets. Mr. O’Briant provided cash management and other financially related restructuring services and now manages the post-confirmation wind down for the Trustee, a Bridge Managing Director.
Member of the Bridge Team serving as financial advisor for the Chapter 7 Trustee for Refco, LLC. Refco was a commodity futures broker which, along with its affiliates, experienced significant financial difficulties and filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in the Southern District of New York in November 2005.
Prior to joining Bridge, Mr. O'Briant served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Operations Executive of Mail Contractors of America, Inc. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of financial and operational management for the largest contract mail carrier for outsourced ground transportation serving the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Prior to joining Mail Contractors of America, Inc. Mr.O'Briant worked for four years as a Senior Financial Analyst and Supervisor of Sales Administration for Air Transport International LLC. Air Transport International, based out of Little Rock, Arkansas operates a national charter airline serving major cities around the world. At Air Transport International LLC, Mr. O'Briant worked primarily with the military airlift and cargo airline divisions.
Mr. O’Briant is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
